The same and the same as, like and alike

Noun   +   V    +    the same as   +   Noun

Noun and Noun   +   V   +   the same

Noun    +    V     +    like    +   Noun

Noun  and Noun   +   V   +   alike

Different between “the same, the same as” and “like, a like”:

“The same, the same as” show 2 things with the exact similarity for 100 %.

“Like, a like” show 2 things with general similarity not for 100 %.

Ex: – This phone is the same as that phone.

–       This phone and that phone are the same.

–       This car is like that car over there.

–       This car and that car over there are a like.

“Like and “be similar to”:

Like = be similar to

Ex: My car is like your car.

=   My car is similar to your car.

Like is also a verb with the meaning “love, enjoy”:

Ex: I like your car.

=   I love your car.
